My best memory involving this reel was when my dad gave it to me when I moved out of the house.

His dad made most of his own hooks, leaders and many different artificial baits. Dad said grandpa made the first float-on trailer for his wooden boat that we used to waterski behind on Spring Lake in Keystone Heights, Fla.
