I've been an Abu Garcia man since I started fishing bass tournaments in 1977. Around 1982, I was introduced to the Abu 507 spinning reel – a very fine reel for casting, flipping, skipping, and it never backlashes.

I now own 14 507s and one 505. I also own all the parts that are available for them.

For casting I use 12 different Abu Tourney Pro TP 3000Cs for smooth casting.
