Here's a shot of the 4-inch Hollow Belly Pro tube in gizzard shad color. Check out the ultra-realistic scale pattern on the back.

It seems only natural that Berkley would take two of the most popular shapes in their arsenal and arm them with features and benefits of the Hollow Belly swimbait. The new Hollow Belly split tails were crafted from the same design as their jerk shad and minnow. The Hollow Belly split tails offer a hollow body, clear-coat finish, lifelike features and soft texture just like the Hollow Belly swimbait.

These juiced-up soft jerkbaits have 3-D eyes, and the hollow body collapses for instant hooksets. The smaller, 3-inch size would work great on a dropshot rig, while the 5-inch size is a killer twitch bait.

Colors available include: Arkansas shiner, blueback herring, clear/gold fleck, clear/silver fleck, firetiger, hitch, pearl-watermelon shad, pearl white, tennessee shad, and trout.

And, of course, they're made with the Berkley PowerBait formula that fish can't bear to spit out once they bite.

Terrific Tubes

The new Hollow Belly tubes turn into life-like creatures when they hit the water, with the clear coat that magnifies the natural finish on the lures.

Berkley already offered 3- and 4-inch PowerBait tubes, but now they are combining the look of the Hollow Belly with the 4-inch size and a new 5 1/2-inch flippin' tube size.

Sometimes a tube can be a rather mundane looking piece of plastic that makes you wonder why a fish would ever take interest in it - not the Hollow Belly tubes. These things look like they're about to swim away, with 3-D eyes, extra long supple swimming tentacles, and attractive finishes.

Colors for the 4-inch Pro tube include: ayu, blueback herring, bluegill, firetiger, gizzard shad, hitch, pearl white, purple tiger, Tennessee shad, and trout.

The 5 1/2-inch Hollow Belly flippin' tube colors include: black/blue fleck, black/red fleck, breen, blueback herring, gizzard shad, green-pumpkin, green-pumpkin party, hitch, pearl white, and watermelon/gold fleck.

Not only do the Hollow Belly tubes have all the benefits of traditional tubes, like a tantalizing spiral fall, waving tentacles, and a bubble trail, but they are enhanced with the Berkley PowerBait formula that, as Berkley says, 'fish bite and won't let go.'

Notable

> The 3-inch Hollow Belly split tails come 5 to a package, while the 5-inch size has 3 in each bag.

> The 4-inch Hollow Belly pro yubes come 4 to a bag, and the 5 1/2-inch flippin' tube has 3 to a bag.

> The new Berkley PowerBait Hollow Belly Pro tubes, flippin' tubes, and split tails will be officially introduced at ICAST this summer, along with dozens of other new baits and line products.
