The new Berkley Gulp! Crazy Legs Jerk shads and grubs add a new dimension to two of Berkley's most popular and traditional offerings.

Is your soft jerkbait just too dead-looking? Put a quiver in your delivery with the new Berkley Gulp! Alive! Crazy Legs Jerk Shad. The long, thin, ribbon-like tails wave goodbye to this cruel, cruel world as the dying fish imitation sinks slowly toward the bottom – and into the waiting mouth of an opportunistic bass.

Whether worked fast or slow, the long stringy tails wave enticingly, drawing in curious and even non-feeding bass. The Crazy Legs move in the slightest current, and even while dead-sticked, the water pushed by the fish's fins will cause the lure to seem alive. And of course, all the while, the Gulp! scent is filling the water around the bait, piquing the hunger urge to get the bass in a feeding mode.

The Crazy Legs Jerk Shad works well as a soft jerkbait, but is also killer on a Carolina rig or as a trailer on a cranking jig (like the Chatterbait).

Colors initially available for the Gulp! Alive! Crazy Legs Jerk ahad: black shad, chartreuse pepper neon, new penny, pearl white, and watermelon.

Berkley is still producing the fork-tailed 5-inch and 7-inch Gulp! Jerk shad as well.

Crazy Legs Grub

A smaller companion to the Jerk shad is the Berkley Gulp! Alive! Crazy Legs grub. It's a 3-inch bundle of energy with a bulky body to hold a hook or jighead well and displace enough water to get noticed. The stringy Crazy Legs tails give it the same life that they give the Jerk shad.

It's a good choice for a dropshot presentation too, as the tails move with the slightest current or shake of the rod tip, and trigger bites from finicky fish.

Colors initially available for the Gulp! Alive! Crazy Legs grub: black, black shad, chartreuse, pearl white, smelt
