The Purist casting reels are smooth, compact and lightweight thanks to a ridged one-piece graphite frame and graphite sideplates that disappear in the hand. Featuring seven-plus-one stainless steel bearings, the Purist employs a centrifugal brake system, aluminum handle and graphite star to outlast any tough-fighting fish.
The Purist casting reel comes in a 7.1:1 gear ratio and is also available as part of two matching combos with 6 1/2-foot rods featuring medium or medium-heavy actions.
The rods that accompany the Purist casting reels have split cork grips and feature IM-8 graphite construction. Each rod is outfitted with stainless steel frame guides and a touch-through reel seat, giving anglers the ultimate feel and sensitivity.
