Bassmaster Elite Series angler Skeet Reese knows a thing or two about going over the top and claiming what's rightfully his. The new Berkley Havoc 5-inch Papa Pit Boss claims the big bites when little bites simply won’t do.
When a large profile bait is needed, the Papa Pit Boss is a must. With an oversized body and extended appendages, it's perfect on the end of a flipping stick. The Papa Pit Boss, a larger version of the original Pit Boss, features a slotted belly and ribbed back that's perfect for exposing the hook.
Designed to be fished Texas-rigged or as a trailer, the Papa Pit Boss has a lifelike texture, four active feelers and comes in 20 introductory colors to match any water.
“This is a legit, big-fish-catching bait,” said Reese, the former Bassmaster Classic champion and B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year. “With a multitude of colors and lifelike action, the Papa Pit Boss screams flipping stick. It doesn’t matter where I'm fishing, if I need a kicker fish, the Papa Pit Boss gives me the broad profile needed to get the big bite.”
The bait is available in the following colors: Bama bug, big Texan, black-blue, blue disco, California, electric blue, green haze, green-pumpkin, green-pumpkin green, green-pumpkin purple fleck, junebug, lime-purple passion, Okeechobee craw, perfection, perfection blue fleck, perfection green fleck, skywalker, summer craw, watermelon and watermelon orange fleck. The retail price for a package of five is $3.49.
